This study discusses the development stage of Blimbingsari Beach, a coastal tourism destination in Banyuwangi Regency, Indonesia, using the Tourism Area Life Cycle (TALC) model formulated by Butler. Blimbingsari Beach, renowned for its grilled fish culinary tourism product, has experienced fluctuations in tourist visits from year to year, culminating in a drastic decline after 2019, primarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A qualitative descriptive approach was used by combining primary data from interviews and observations with secondary data in the form of online reviews and tourism reports. The analysis of the interactive model approach includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that Blimbingsari Beach is currently at the "Development" stage in the TALC model. This phenomenon is evident in the increase in visits during the peak season, the active involvement of the government and local community, and ongoing promotions through social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. The existence of easily accessible tourism facilities and transportation infrastructure also strengthens this classification. This study offers strategic guidance to stakeholders on achieving sustainable tourism development, enhancing service quality, and enhancing the overall appeal of Blimbingsari.
