PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN DEODORANT SPRAY DARI BATU TAWAS DAN KULIT JERUK BAGI WARGA KAVLING KAMBOJA RT 0001/ RW 015 SUNGAI PELUNGGUT, KECAMATAN SAGULUNG, KOTA BATAM, PROVINSI KEPULAUAN RIAU

Abstract

Community service is part of the Tridharma of Higher Education which aims to apply science to improve community welfare. This activity was carried out through training in making natural deodorant spray using alum stone and orange peel for residents of Kavling Kamboja RT 001 RW 015, Sungai Pelunggut Village, Sagulung District, Batam City. The training aims to empower the community in processing natural ingredients into healthy, environmentally friendly, and economically valuable body care products. The methods used included counseling, demonstrations, direct practice, as well as discussions and evaluations. The results of the activity showed that participants gained new knowledge and skills, and an interest in developing home businesses based on natural products emerged. This activity succeeded in increasing public awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle and opening new economic opportunities based on local potential.
