Blimbingsari Beach, renowned for its grilled fish culinary tourism product, has experienced fluctuations in tourist visits from year to year, culminating in a drastic decline after 2019, primarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A qualitative descriptive approach was used by combining primary data from interviews and observations with secondary data in the form of online reviews and tourism reports. The analysis of the interactive model approach includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that Blimbingsari Beach is currently at the "Development" stage in the TALC model. This phenomenon is evident in the increase in visits during the peak season, the active involvement of the government and local community, and ongoing promotions through social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. The existence of easily accessible tourism facilities and transportation infrastructure also strengthens this classification. This study offers strategic guidance to stakeholders on achieving sustainable tourism development, enhancing service quality, and enhancing the overall appeal of Blimbingsari.
2025-12-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Mujtahidur Ridlo Aminuddin, Aris Saputra Saogo, Rieka Putri Aldhama, Echa Putri Oktabrilia, Nafas Nabila Finda Kamandanu, Ayu Wanda Febrian https://journal.bukitpengharapan.ac.id/index.php/JUPARITA/article/view/671 KAJIAN POTENSI DAN TINGKAT KELAYAKAN WISATA GUA TENGKORAK BERDASARKAN ADO-ODTWA DI KABUPATEN PASER, KALIMANTAN TIMUR 2025-06-08T23:48:43+07:00 Regina Defita Sari Defita Sari ginajurnal1@gmail.com Mei Vita Romadon Ningrum Vitaromadon@gmail.com Juwari Juwari Juwari@gmail.com Najma Nur Mawaddah Mawaddah1222@gmal.com
Gua Tengkorak is a unique natural tourist attraction located in Kasungai Village, Paser Regency, East Kalimantan. This study aims to identify and analyze the tourism potential that can be developed in Gua Tengkorak as a leading tourist destination in Paser Regency. The research used a quantitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The tourism potential was assessed using the 2003 Natural Tourism Object and Attraction Operational Area Analysis (ADO-ODTWA) guidelines from the Directorate General of PHKA. The results show that Gua Tengkorak has interesting natural tourism potential, including unique stalactite and stalagmite formations and historical value due to the presence of human skulls in the cave. Based on the analysis of attraction, accessibility, accommodation, and facilities factors, a total average score of 496.25 was obtained, indicating that Gua Tengkorak has “fairly potential” category for development. The attraction and accessibility aspects scored very high, but accommodation and supporting facilities scored low. The main challenges in developing Gua Tengkorak tourism are the limited supporting facilities, the absence of accommodation in Kasungai Village, and road access that needs improvement. Therefore, efforts from the local government, community, and private sector are needed to enhance promotion, infrastructure, and facilities in order to make Gua Tengkorak a sustainable and competitive tourist destination.
2025-12-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Regina Defita Sari Defita Sari, Mei Vita Romadon Ningrum, Juwari Juwari, Najma Nur Mawaddah https://journal.bukitpengharapan.ac.id/index.php/JUPARITA/article/view/927 PELUANG DAN TANTANGAN PENGEMBANGAN KOTA TUA AMPENAN SEBAGAI DESTINASI WISATA LOMBOK 2025-12-03T07:15:04+07:00 Rifalina Razanah Segaf. It should be noted that this study is important because efforts to develop a tourist destination require accurate analysis in order to formulate an appropriate strategy. Therefore, this study uses SWOT analysis combined with the 3A concept in tourism as a framework so that the analysis of opportunities and challenges in developing Ampenan Old Town can be identified comprehensively by looking at three important aspects in tourist destinations, namely attractions, amenities, and accessibility. On the other hand, the research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with interviews, observation, and literature study as data collection techniques. In general, this study shows that Ampenan Old Town has strong potential derived from its strengths and opportunities, as well as challenges arising from its weaknesses and threats. Thus, this study suggests that the development strategy for Ampenan Old Town should focus on maximizing existing opportunities or potential and minimizing challenges. Future research is expected to further expand the variables of analysis, such as service quality, human resource quality, or tourist behavior, in analyzing the opportunities and challenges for the development of Ampenan Old Town.

Keywords: Old Town Ampenan; Lombok; SWOT Analysis; 3A Concept in Tourism; Tourism Development
2025-12-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Rifalina Razanah Segaf. This study examines the dynamics of halal tourism development in Malang City, East Java, which is increasingly positioning itself as a premier Muslim-friendly destination in Southeast Asia. Departing from the extant literature that predominantly focuses on consumer behavior (demand-side), this research adopts a qualitative-descriptive approach to dissect the supply-side perspective, encompassing public policy integration, infrastructural readiness, and stakeholder participation within a mid-sized urban ecosystem. Through data triangulation - utilizing secondary data from regional strategic planning documents (RPJMD) and field observations of culinary and religious tourism clusters - this study reveals that the "Malang Halal" vision has been formally institutionalized as a strategic pillar within "The Future of Malang" development roadmap. The findings indicate the effectiveness of a collaborative model involving the local government, academia, through Halal Center assistance, and the business community in accelerating product certification and providing representative public worship facilities. While Malang offers an adaptive and promising tourism ecosystem framework, the sector's long-term sustainability demands strategic intensification in digital visibility, cross-regional infrastructure integration, and the strengthening of international branding to capture a broader global market.
2025-12-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Indra Lukmana Putra, Martaleni Martaleni, Triesti Candrawati, Peni Puspitasari, Hanum Rachma https://journal.bukitpengharapan.ac.id/index.php/JUPARITA/article/view/712 STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN OBJEK WISATA PASIR PATAYA DI DESA CIAKAR KECAMATAN CIBEUREUM KOTA TASIKMALAYA 2025-07-06T22:44:55+07:00 Mila Aulia Putri 232170034@student.unsil.ac.id Raisa Aulia Azqa 232170092@student.unsil.ac.id Ardiyanti Zahra 232170046@student.unsil.ac.id Siti Fadjarajani sitifadjarajani@unsil.ac.id Cahya Darmawan cahya@unsil.ac.id
Pasir Pataya is a natural tourist destination located in Ciakar Village, Cibeureum District, Tasikmalaya City. This research is crucial due to the lack of specific quantitative exploration on how the frequency of exposure to non-live-action media (anime) affects Indonesian tourists' intention to visit, especially given the significant surge in post-pandemic visits. The main objective is to measure this causal relationship. This study employed a quantitative approach using Purposive Sampling and collected data through an online questionnaire using a Likert scale from Indonesian citizens who are anime fans. Data was processed using SPSS version 25, involving classical assumption tests and concluding with a simple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that the frequency of anime exposure has a positive and significant influence on Indonesian tourists' intention to visit Japan, accounting for approximately $48.2\%$ of the variation in travel intention. Frequent exposure strengthens Parasocial Interaction (PSI), triggering pilgrimage motivation (Seichi Junrei) and effectively translating fantasy into concrete travel plans. It is concluded that anime exposure frequency is a substantial predictor of travel intention. Tourism stakeholders are advised to leverage this data in formulating content-based marketing strategies. Future research is suggested to formally test the role of PSI as a mediating variable.
2025-12-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 ake https://journal.bukitpengharapan.ac.id/index.php/JUPARITA/article/view/827 EKOWISATA BERBASIS KELEMBAGAAN: STRATEGI PENCAPAIAN SDGS 16 “PERDAMAIAN, KEADILAN, DAN KELEMBAGAAN YANG TANGGUH" DI KAWASAN MANGROVE MENTAWIR, KECAMATAN SEPAKU 2025-11-01T22:33:06+07:00 Cherlys celycherlys@gmail.com Ebzalika Fatiha celycherlys@gmail.com Nabilla Anisa Hidayati celycherlys@gmail.com Irfan Nurdiansyah celycherlys@gmail.com Sajiwoaji Priyonggo Andono celycherlys@gmail.com Razieq Hasan celycherlys@gmail.com Farisa Khoirunnisa celycherlys@gmail.com Sania Nurul Lathifah celycherlys@gmail.com Ridhwan Adnan Saputro celycherlys@gmail.com Vitta Annisa Faradilla celycherlys@gmail.com Azzahra Lintang Maharani celycherlys@gmail.com Desy Rahma Febrianty celycherlys@gmail.com Alexander Minifos celycherlys@gmail.com Dewi Sri Sulistyorini celycherlys@gmail.com Sekar Kaniraras celycherlys@gmail.com Chandra Rizky Arifianto celycherlys@gmail.com Raden Roro Marsyanda Mahira celycherlys@gmail.com Laila Putri Rachmayani celycherlys@gmail.com Isnaeni Pangestu Utami celycherlys@gmail.com Chanaya Pradipta Berlin celycherlys@gmail.com
Community-based ecotourism in the Mangrove Mentawir area, Sepaku District, holds a strategic position in supporting sustainable development, particularly as a buffer zone for the new capital city (IKN). This study aims to analyze the role of local institutions in ecotourism governance and to identify practices aligned with the principles of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16, namely peace, justice, and strong institutions. The research applied a deductive qualitative approach, employing in-depth interviews, observations, and document reviews as data collection techniques. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods with a focus on stakeholder mapping, including identification, profiling, role modeling, and inter-actor relationships. The findings indicate that Pokdarwis Tiram Tambun serves as the primary actor in ecotourism management; however, the sustainability of its activities remains highly dependent on central figures and external institutional support. Secondary stakeholders such as PT Inhutani, Mentawir Village Administration, and the Penajam Paser Utara Tourism Office contribute to the process, though their roles remain partial and not yet firmly institutionalized. These findings highlight the importance of multi-stakeholder forums, community capacity building, and inclusive participation to strengthen ecotourism governance. Strengthening local institutions in Mentawir is therefore not only relevant for the sustainability of the local destination but also significant in supporting the development of a resilient, just, and sustainable IKN buffer zone.
2025-12-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Cherlys, Ebzalika Fatiha, Nabilla Anisa Hidayati, Irfan Nurdiansyah, Sajiwoaji Priyonggo Andono, Razieq Hasan, Farisa Khoirunnisa, Sania Nurul Lathifah, Ridhwan Adnan Saputro, Vitta Annisa Faradilla, Azzahra Lintang Maharani, Desy Rahma Febrianty, Alexander Minifos, Dewi Sri Sulistyorini, Sekar Kaniraras, Chandra Rizky Arifianto, Raden Roro Marsyanda Mahira, Laila Putri Rachmayani, Isnaeni Pangestu Utami, Chanaya Pradipta Berlin
